...I've said it a thousand times, no one named Bush should ever run for political office ever again.
Apparently, Jeb Bush, former Florida governor and brother of George W. Bush, doesn't feel that way. In fact, he's considering a run for the presidency in 2016.
Did he not see what happened to his brother, how he got nailed by the press? If he was smart, after his run as governor, he would stay as far away from politics as humanly possible. That last name has become poison to not only the GOP, but politics in general.
Okay, maybe I'm being a little too harsh. He can help raise funds for the contender in a few years, or work as a political adviser. I just don't think anyone named Bush should run for political office ever again.
Also isn't it a bit too soon to be thinking about this? The election was only three weeks ago, so I think we're all still feeling the aftershocks. I think that maybe we should wait until AT LEAST 2014, after we (hopefully) gain some ground in the House and Senate. We should then let them get sworn in, get to work, and THEN we can talk about who our "guy" is going to be. Does that make sense? Good.

Religious Freedom 1- Obamacare 0 (for now)
A Christian publisher was granted a temporary injunction against having to provide certain types of contraceptives to their employees under the new health care law. The parties involved will meet again at a later date to determine if the injunction should be made permanent.
I am totally supportive of the publishing company, and I hope it is made permanent. I don't understand what it is with this generation, why they think that they are entitled to everything. Get a job and pay for it yourself. Better yet, keep your legs shut. That's what I do, and have done for years. Quite effective.
As for myself, I suffer from epilepsy, and have been on medication for it for the last six years. The front-line medication I am on (Lamictal) doesn't play well with a lot of other medications, including birth control. As a result, I cannot be on the pill, patch, or ring. I am also NOT a candidate for an IUD, since I have not had any children. I am also unsure about having any because of my epilepsy, because I might have a seizure and lose the baby. That's right, I said baby. Not fetus, baby. I believe that they are human beings from the word "go". In fact, in Psalm 139: 13-15, the Holy Ghost said through the pen of David:

14. I will praise Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15. My substance was not hid from Thee, when I was made in secret, curiously wrought from the lowest parts of the earth. That's another reason among the many others I won't go into right now. For now, I will digress.

Protecting the Shepherd at the Expense of the Flock
It appears that's what this is a case of at Christ Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, where Darrell Gilyard is pastor. You see, Darrell is a registered sex offender, and for this reason, the church has banned children of all ages.
This angers me not only as a Christian, but also as a godmother (I have a two-and-a-half-year-old godson). It violates the Bible in so many ways, it's not even funny. The first way I can think of is the Third Commandment, which is "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy". I feel bad that these kids are breaking this commandment because of their parents. It's not really their fault. If it were me, and my godson was one of the children involved, I'd take him to a different church.
Another way is in Romans 10:17, which says "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Going to church and hearing the word of God helps nurture their faith. They need it.
Jesus also said in Matthew 19:14 "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." He also had some harsh words for those who would keep children from coming to worship. "But whoso shall offend these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone be hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea". Matthew 18:6.
It also says in Ephesians "And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Part of that is bringing them to church.
Jesus told Peter to feed His lambs. This church is starving them.

Here We Go Again...
Looks like we might have another Bush running for office.
George P. Bush, the son of former Florida governor Jeb Bush and nephew of former president George W. Bush, has submitted a reporting declaration with the Texas Ethics Commission, which is the first step for running for office in the Lone Star State. It isn't clear what office he is running for, though.
All I have to say is, no. No more Bushes in politics, period. Did he NOT see what happened to his uncle? He was CRUCIFIED in those eight years. I'm just afraid that just because of his last name, he's going to be crucified by the press. He might have great credentials (according to the article, he's an attorney and a partner at a real-estate investment company, so there are a couple of routes he could go to get his feet wet), but I'm just afraid that he's a Bush is going to get him destroyed.
Anyway, I wish him the best of luck with his campaign, whatever office he decides to run for.

Did the Romney Campaign Beach Itself?
According to Breitbart, it looks like Romney's defeat, might have been due to a flop of a technology called Orca. This technology was to be used to let pollwatchers record voter names as they checked in. This would give the campaign information in real-time. However, there were problems with the app or the backup system. That was only in Colorado.
In Virginia, the disorganization was evident. They had apparently relied on Orca to do all the heavy lifting, and in the meantime, Obama's minions got ready and staked their claim. It went on like that for the rest of the states.
Hopefully, a lesson can be learned from all of this, and that is while technology can be a wonderful thing, it can always fail. Always have a backup plan.

I'm Back
You probably don't remember me, but I used to be known as Another Annoying Little Twit. A few things have changed since the last time I posted there:
-Thanks to the Tea Party, the Republicans retook control of the House of Representatives. It didn't really matter, though, since Obaka was still president and the Dems still had the Senate. This also means that four(!) years have passed, and we still don't have a budget. This goes against the Constitution, since it says, in Article 1, Section 9, Clause 7:
No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.In other words, they have to put out a budget. Moving on... -Obama got re-elected, which took me by surprise after the insane amount of momentum that Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate had towards the end. Also, Obama has had one clusterf*** after the other (things like Fast and Furious and Benghazi come to mind) -Bin Laden is dead. I do not credit Obama with that, since almost anyone in their right mind would order the hit. I credit the SEAL who did it. My hat goes off to him. -Andrew Breitbart, who was an icon in the blogging/citizen-journalist movement, passed away. His passing, and Obama's re-election, has inspired me to start blogging again. I need to go to bed, but I will part with this: This is what I looked like when I last blogged in 2008: That was me, full of hope that our country wouldn't completely go downhill. Boy was I naive. That was me Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. I was mad as hell, and decided that I'm ready to go to war with liberals. I will part with this rallying cry: I AM BREITBART!!! #WAR!
